Ben primarily works with charcoal on raw canvas, embracing the medium’s elemental quality to capture both immediacy and depth. His artworks often navigate the profound tensions of human existence, referencing life and death, fragility and chaos, beauty and violence, injustice and memory. Through this raw and unfiltered approach, Ben transforms simple materials into powerful meditations on the complexity of our shared condition.
